Final Thoughts
While September isn’t as big as the last two months, I still enjoy the dividends I’m receiving during these months. The increase compared to last quarter and last year is a welcome change and it’s something that I like to see more often.
The addition of ARCC will be a good boost to the end of each quarter. This will help get the end of the quarter months to the same levels as the start and middle of the quarter months. I might be adding more to ARCC this October. And I might look for other payers in the same schedule.
For October, I’ll be more cautious in where I will put my funds. The market isn’t recovering yet, so the best move for me would be to position myself with stocks that would likely move upwards after this downtrend.
There are many cheap stocks right now, and I’d like to avoid getting into the trap of buying cheap stocks for the sake of buying cheap stocks. If I can increase my positions on the good ones, the better.
I’ll continue to monitor my portfolio from time to time like always, and make any adjustments to my strategy if there is a need.
