Net Worth Update #13

Time for another net worth update! On my Net Worth Update #12, I had a net worth of $15,966.78.

April was an interesting month for me because I did some experimenting with my investments and worked on paying off some debts. There was a lot of movement when it comes to my numbers, and I’m happy to share them with you.

All numbers here are logged in as of February 28 at 5pm. As always, to make things simpler in my blog, I’m going to do bullet points and quick summaries so that there’s no need to read.

My Assets (Cash & Savings)

CASH Details: I have 1 account that I consider my personal checking account.

  • Wells Fargo — $2,105.17

SAVINGS Details: I have 1 personal high-yield savings account. I removed 1 account from my savings.

  • Yotta — $7,746.24

SUMMARY:

CASH — Barely any movement here since I’ve kept my expenses to a minimum and the money in at the same levels.

SAVINGS — I increased this by $500 due to some excess money from my tax savings. This was a good number to add since it can act as a buffer for emergency expenses.

My Assets (Investments)

INVESTMENT Details: I have 6 investment accounts: 3 money market accounts & 3 cryptocurrency accounts. I have added multiple crypto yield farms to monitor.

Stock Market

  • TDAmeritrade — $2,098.82

If you’re ever interested in investing in stocks, WeBull and Public are great platforms to start with because they give you signup bonuses. So make sure to check out WeBull for 2 free stocks and Public for a free stock worth $50 or more!

Cryptocurrency — Did some experiments on KuCoin’s trading bots. KuCoin reached more than $1000 at one point, but I lost all and then some of my profits. We live and we learn.

Total Liabilities & My Comments

My Net Worth for April 2022

So my new Net Worth for April 2022 is $17,807.81, an increase of $1,841.03 — a 11.53% increase compared to the previous month, March.

For May, I’m simply going to replenish my accounts and savings. I’m also focusing on adding more shares with my dividend and crypto portfolios. I won’t be experimenting as aggressive as I did for this month though. That $300 loss was a but scaring.

I created a trading bot instead that would trade for me. Luckily, that bot has already made me profits and is continuing to make profits while I’m sleeping.

I’m also doubling down on writing on Medium, so I can monetize my written content. I’m close to becoming a partner with the platform. Once that’s official, I can add this to my passive income streams.
