April 2021 Dividends

Another month, another dividend income update! This time, I’m sharing the results for April!

TLDR; I have a video as well if you’re not interested in reading.

Here’s a breakdown of my April 2021 dividends.

PCI $     2.44
AGNC $     1.56
O $     2.59
STAG $     4.35
GNL $     31.20
GOOD $     5.63
LAND $     0.95
NRZ $     5.40

In total, I made $54.12 in April.

Compared to last quarter, January, we see an increase of $3.58. Here are the increases and decreases in my dividends compared to last quarter:

PCI (no change)
AGNC (no change)
O +$0.01
GNL (no change)
STAG +$0.03
GOOD +1.37
LAND +$0.01
NRZ +$2.40

Compared to last month, March, dividends were higher by $XX. Here are the increases and decreases in my dividends compared to last month:

PCI +$1.00
AGNC (no change)
GNL (no previous dividends)
O +$0.01
STAG (no change)
GOOD +$1.12
LAND +$0.01
NRZ (no previous dividends)

Bought 7 extra shares for GOOD, bringing my total shares from 38 to 45. I told myself in the past that I would only buy more GOOD if the share price was below $20. I broke that rule now since I have a very good feeling about the REIT industry right now, so I was willing to buy beyond my rule in order to capitalize on the future growth.

I wanted to buy more T, but given how questionable how their growth is right now, I’m pausing adding anything to my current position until I see something favorable. I still keep the stock since it’s paying me continued dividends. If it drops again to $30, then I will add more.

I was really thinking about adding more to STAG. But the stock is inching to being overbought, so I’ll just wait for it to correct and load up some more. They’ve been doing pretty well for the past few months and you can see that from the growth in my portfolio. In terms of dollar growth, STAG is the winner in my portfolio, with gains of more than $200. But if we’re talking percentage gains, LAND is the winner with close to 60% in gain.

SCHH is something that I want to tackle on next, but the price for it right now is stopping me from adding more. If it dips down, I will buy more of it. But I’m also considering adding a different stock that pays on the same months that SCHH pays.SCHH has very inconsistent dividend payouts, so it will really impact the income I get every quarter.
