It’s time for another dividend update!
For the month of May, the decline in my dividend income continues. It’s quite unfortunate to see my portfolio experience this, but it is what it is.
The companies I have invested in are currently paying attention to their survival and I couldn’t agree more with their moves.
TLDR; I have a video as well if you’re not interested in reading.
Here’s a breakdown of my May 2020 dividends.
PCI | $2.33 |
T | $5.20 |
AGNC | $1.56 |
NRZ | $0.75 |
STAG | $3.18 |
O | $1.98 |
GOOD | $3.38 |
LAND | $0.49 |
In total, I made $18.87 in May. I consider this lower because compared to February (quarterly payout of $T), it is a 25.74% decrease in income. I lost around $7 because of $APLE’s decision to halt their distributions back in March.
May’s dividend income could’ve been lower if not for $NRZ’s payout of $0.75 on May 15th. The company delayed their payout for a month. Thus, it wasn’t included on my April’s tracker (as I mentioned on my previous post).
Plus, $NRZ had also cut their dividends by a significant amount. From a $7.50 dividend income back on January, I only received 10% of that amount for May. This really put a dent on my potential income for May.
For the coming months, I still expect the dividends to be lower than usual. This is because companies are still trying to recover from the beat down they’ve experienced from the pandemic.
How is your May dividends doing so far?
